official currency in Peru is the Nuevo Sol, represented
by the symbol S/. The American dollar is the currency of easiest
exchange and acceptance. You may change dollars in banks,
exchange houses and hotels. Exchange other cur???? ?rencies
is more difficult being able to do it only in exchange houses.
On the other hand, exchanging traveller cheques is a bit difficult.
