DESCRIPTION

Capachica has roots in pre-Inca times and preserves archaeological remains, rock art, and traces of both the Inca and colonial periods. Its cultural heritage is expressed through local festivities, dances, customs and handicrafts. The peninsula also offers attractive beaches and beautiful natural scenery, while communities such as Llachón, Luquina and nearby villages provide community-based tourism experiences.
